The Citizens Area Transit (CAT) is the Las Vegas and Clark County region's primary public bus system, which includes Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Laughlin, and Mesquite, with a fleet of 300 fully accessible buses that are wheelchair lift equipped. All CAT fares are payable upon boarding. Pay with exact change (a CAT pass or CAT tokens are available). The fare is $1.25 (over 18), except on Routes 301, 302, 303, were the full fare is $2.00 (or 4 CAT tokens). Buses run from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. for residential routes, seven days a week. Routes 103, 106, 107, 109, 113, 115, 202, 210 and 301 run 24 hours a day.
CAT offers transportation to and from McCarran International Airport on routes 108 and 109. The 108 is a loop route which travels southbound on Paradise into the airport and exits northbound on Swenson/Joe W. Brown, connecting the airport with downtown Las Vegas via Las Vegas Boulevard. Service is from 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 a.m., running every 30 minutes. The 109 travels north and south along Maryland Parkway, every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, connecting the airport to downtown Las Vegas. During peak periods, route 109 runs every 12 minutes.
