This is the place to come if you're looking for a real sandwich. Breads, pickles,
condiments and meats are flown in daily from New York, the home of the deli-sandwich. To
make the sandwiches feel more at home, the walls are adorned with Broadway theater posters
and sprayed with subway graffiti.
Tables are always stocked with pickles and condiments, but save room for the sandwiches.
Hearty eaters will enjoy the 5-inch high sandwiches made with meats like corned beef,
pastrami and briskets. Even if you don't like these dishes, you'll find something of
interest on the Stage's extensive menu. Other specialties include knishes, blintzes,
perogy and kreplach.
