Las Vegas Dining Guide

Pegasus
Alexis Park Resort   (375 E. Harmon Ave.)
(702) 796-3300
This upscale restaurant has one of the nicest dining rooms in town. Fountains, mist machines and mirrors have an ethereal effect that is made more beautiful with the addition of rich greenery and a view of a rock garden.
The continental dishes reflect a French influence with innovative changes. For starters have a quail egg mixed with mandarin oranges in a sweet mustard dressing. Another good choice is the lobster bisque made with generous amounts of cognac. After cleansing your palette with the sorbet that is served between courses, choose from a large list of entrees including a daily game special. The specialty of the house is Maine lobster sautéed with black truffles in a Madeira/bordelaise sauce. It's absolutely dreamy. Pegasus also specializes in flambé dishes, so try the cherries jubilee.
