Kids absolutely love Dive!, and chances are you will too. The outside of the restaurant
looks like a yellow submarine crashing through a wall of water, with depth charge blasts
erupting in a pool. The dining room looks like the interior of a submarine with
porthole-shaped windows, pipes that occasionally expel steam, sonar stations and a working
periscope. There are also ships, subs and exotic fish on tracks circling overhead.
Every hour a video show simulates a submarine dive on a 16 screen video wall and the other
48 monitors in the restaurant.
This restaurant is the creation of Steven Spielberg and Jeffery
Katzenberg. Legend has it
that they couldn't find a good place for submarine sandwiches, and Voila, another theme
restaurant is born.
