Ellis Island is Las Vegas' premier karaoke bar, with open mic starting at 9:00 p.m. (also happy hour). Music lovers of all types grace the stage here, some not so good, others just plain awful. But that is what makes it so fun. Sing among contemporaries of equal talent, with hopes that you gain some fans in the crowd, or at least a buzz, a good time and some cheap eats. The cacophonous clamor reigns from 9:00 p.m. to about 3:00 a.m. This is a great place to bring a date, if that person has a good sense of humor. If you can't laugh at yourself, then laugh at everybody else.
