Public Transportation in Las Vegas!
I must confess that by not using the bus I do not know much about it, but
lately people have asked me a lot about it and decided to translate the page of
public transportation in Las Vegas and put here, I hope that helps.
Deuce
Deuce Bus, also known as RTC or formally CAT (transport area for citizens), is
the best form of transportation for locals and visitors along the famous Las
Vegas Strip. Sponsored by the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), Las
Vegas Deuce is probably the cheapest way to get around.
He runs up and down the LasVegas Strip, 24 hours a day and stops at almost
every hotel and casino along the Las Vegas Strip. The bus stops are located
every quarter mile in each direction in the Las Vegas Strip and are marked with
signs or bus shelters.
These buses are more affordable than taxis, which can not pick up passengers on
the street.
The RTC has 51 routes, and if you are staying longer on the strip you'll enjoy
using the Deuce, which is a style coach in San Francisco with two floors
dedicated solely to the strip.
It accommodates up to 97 people, fully air conditioned and spacious, the
journey begins at the south end of a terminal near McCarran Airport and ends at
a terminal near Fremont Street. You can also take any of the other 50 coaches
to learn more about Las Vegas.
RTC Offers Reduced Fares
The RTC offers discounted rates for youth 6-17 years old to 62 years, people
with disabilities and persons eligible for Medicare (U.S. health system) ID
(Photo identification) must be presented to buy or use a reduced fare (do not
say anything about being a tourist or not, so I think qualuqer tourist should
be able to use that rate if it has the document at the time of purchase and or
use)
The one-way fare is $ 3.00 in the LasVegas Strip, and $ 2.00 in other coaches
out there. You can also buy a day pass for $ 7.00 for the Deuce, which is very
convenient if you plan to make several trips up and down the Strip.
