Emmy award winning Wayne Brady is one of the most versatile men in show business. He recently wrapped up a run playing Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago in New York. Known for hosting his own syndicated talk/variety show "The Wayne Brady Show" for two years, Brady picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Host for his ability to act, sing, dance, and make audiences laugh. The show also won an Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show.

Born and raised in Florida, Brady started his career performing at in local theater, in numerous stage productions including "A Chorus Line," "Fences," "A Raisin in the Sun," "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "I'm Not Rappaport." He moved to Los Angeles and performed at the prestigious Mark Taper Forum in its production of "Blade to the Heat," and made television guest appearances on series such as "I'll Fly Away," "Home Court" and "In the Heat of the Night."

Prior to "The Wayne Brady Show," Brady was best known for his improvisational skills on ABC's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" for which he won an Emmy and earned four Emmy nominations. Brady received critical accolades when he guest-starred on the hit series "American Dreams," portraying the legendary Jackie Wilson. And in May 2003, he served as host of the 2003 Daytime Emmy Awards, where Brady and his series took home the top talk show honors and his performance resulted in TV Guide dubbing him "the so-talented-it's-scary Wayne Brady."

Brady performed on VH1's "Big in 2002" and brought down the house in an appearance at the 2nd Annual TV Guide Awards. In fact, the actor was so well embraced by the industry that the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences invited Brady to perform solo at the 52nd Annual Emmy Awards in September 2000. The comedic musical medley, which spoofed many of the seasons' top shows, was a hit, and one critic said of the performance "Brady Out-Crystaled Billy Crystal."
