Opening for Cher will be the highly energetic and entertaining Village People, who have forever cemented their place in pop culture history with worldwide hits such as "YMCA," "Macho Man" and "In the Navy."
The event will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, October 11 at 10am (EST). Tickets are priced at $125, $75, and $49.50 will be available in person at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall Box Office. The Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall wristband policy will be in effect.
"The road is tough," stated the world's ultimate diva, "but the audience makes it all worthwhile." Cher's final tour comes in support of her current Warner Bros. Records album "LIVING PROOF" which debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard album charts and has been praised as a collection of songs that shows Cher at her "career zenith" as a singer.
In a four-decade career including TV, film, Broadway, live shows and music, Cher has been a permanent fixture on the pop culture map. Her l998 Number l album
"BELIEVE" sold over ten million CDs worldwide. The single "BELIEVE" was a number one hit in over 25 countries and holds the record as the biggest-selling single by a female in UK history. Her "BELIEVE" tour played to Standing Room Only crowds around the world for almost a year.
