The Westward Ho is located next to Circus
Circus on the Las Vegas Strip. It's a large casino that offers southern hospitality and
lots of gaming room. The slot area is huge, as the Westward Ho hosts numerous slots
tournaments. The name "Westard Ho" garners a lot of chuckles and tasteless
jokes, but the facility is not bad. There's lots of room around the gaming tables and
the staff is very friendly. A three-piece country band plays Monday through Saturday from
7pm to 1am. You won't find the more exotic table games like baccarat, but there are lots
of the standards like blackjack and craps.
Instead of building up, the Westward Ho
built out. The two story hotel stretches back for a quite a distance. The hotel facility
is so big there's a shuttle that runs from the rooms to the casino 24 hours a day. The
rooms are generic but inexpensive.
The casino bar offers .99 cent margaritas
from 10am to 10pm!
