Orleans

A combination of the city of New Orleans' most renowned attractions--the French Quarter, the Garden District and Mardi Gras -- The Orleans Hotel & Casino mirrors everything that has made that city one of the major tourist and convention attractions in the United States.

The 22-story, 840-room resort is the newest project of Coast Resorts, Inc., developer of two existing, highly successful Las Vegas hotel/casinos, the Gold Coast just west of the Strip on Flamingo Road and the Barbary Coast on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Orleans is conveniently located on an 88-acre site on Tropicana Ave., just west of the Strip and 1-15. The site is easily accessible from Arville and Cameron Streets in addition to multiple Tropicana Avenue entrances.

The Orleans' striking architecture combines a French Quarter facade incorporating French, Spanish and Plantation Colonial influences, with the sparkle and imagination one expects to find in Las Vegas. Visitors enter through a 40-foot-high atrium highlighted by the spellbinding sights and sounds of the famed Crescent City.

Gaming at the Orleans

Under a 40-foot-high ceiling depicting typical New Orleans street scenes and architecture, the 112,000-square-foot casino contains all the most popular table games and slots in addition to separate Keno and Poker areas and a state-of-the-art Race and Sports Book.

The 65 table games include Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Let It Ride, Baccarat and Pal Gow Poker. More than 2,100 slots, video poker and video keno offer all the latest games as well as the traditional favorites.

With seating for 125 persons and with new generation LED reader boards and the latest high resolution giant screen televisions, the Race and Sports Book makes all major race and sports events instantly available. The Race Book provides 13 betting windows for pari-mutuel wagering, while the Sports Book features seven betting windows.

Poker players can enjoy their favorite live poker games in the 20-table Poker Room. The conveniently located 24-hour Keno Lounge seats 60. Keno service is available in the restaurants and throughout the casino.
