This restaurant is known for it's romantic
setting and outstanding French cuisine. The Monte Carlo Room's dining room has a pretty
mural of frolicking nymphs and the windows offer a view of the pool and all its
surrounding foliage. To facilitate the romantic mood, cupids and fluffy clouds are painted
on the ceiling and the tables are dimly lit by candle-light or a shaded crystal lamp.
The food is comprised of classic French dishes that are prepared to perfection. The thick
and creamy lobster bisque, served in a scooped out bread-bowl is the best we've ever had.
For an entree one should consider the duck a l'orange served with wild rice mixed with
apple and pine nuts. The Monte Carlo Room specializes in flaming dishes, so don't leave
without trying the crepes Suzette or cherries jubilee.
Ho Wan, (meaning "Good
Luck" in Chinese) specializes in Mandarin, Cantonese and Szechwan
cuisine. This modern dining room offers a serene and pretty setting. One attractive
feature of the dining room is an aquarium stocked with colorful fish that is built right
into the wall of a maple-paneled entryway. Open daily, 6 to 11pm.
Portofino offers guests a
mouth-watering taste of Northern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. The romantic,
candle-lit atmosphere of Portofino overlooks the beautiful casino floor for a truly
one-of-a-kind dining and viewing experience. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 6 to 11pm.
Terrace Pointe, the resort's 24-hour
restaurant, creates the illusion of dining "alfresco" as guests overlook swaying
palms and a tropical lagoon. Guests may select from an American/Continental menu as well
as special selections from the Far East and an elegant breakfast and lunch buffet.
