Rock Canyon
The Red Rock Canyon
Visitors Center has information on a couple of hiking paths throughout the canyon. Here's
our favorite:
Moenkopi Loop
This easy two mile loop starts southwest of the Visitors Center near the weather station
and leads to the crest of the hill west of the Visitors Center. At the crest, cottontop
barrel cactus and Triassic fossils can be seen. Along the way a diverse community of
plants exist including creosote, blackbrush and yuccas.
