To reach Hoover Dam from Las
Vegas, take US 93/95 South about twenty three miles to Boulder City. Then take US 93 East
about 11 miles to the dam.
A special Hard-hat tour of
Hoover Dam is also available. This one hour tour goes behind the scenes of the dam for an
interesting perspective supplemented by anecdotes. The hard-hat tours are available from
9:30 am to 3:30 pm, and costs $25.
Free wheelchairs are available for the tour.
