San Francisco Sally's Victorian Chapel is a fun and charming place that could only proliferate in a place like Las Vegas. Located on the Vegas Strip, the tiny church is filled with Victorian ornamentation (even fringed lamps) to make you feel like your having an "Olde Tyme Parlor Wedding," to use their words. The chapel looks similar to a bordello, but that's part of the fun. For extravagant couples, the chapel provides costumes and period clothing for rental. And why not go all the way? The alterations are free and it is a once-in-a-lifetime event. The staff absolutely pampers you and makes the event a lot of fun, as it should be. The ceremony is very unusual and memorable, though you won't be able to share this fantasy wedding with much more than 14 people, the maximum seating capacity.
More than 100,000 marriages are performed in Las Vegas every year. Blood tests are not required and there is no waiting period in the State of Nevada. All you need to get married here is a valid driver's license, $55 for a marriage license (obtained at the County Clerk's Office 702-455-4415) and someone to marry.
In general, chapel fees usually start at around $50, not including extras like a tip for the minister. A variety of services are usually available as well, including civil ceremonies, non-denominational ceremonies, ceremonies with original vows, and marriages involving kids from previous relationships.
