The $760 million Paris Las Vegas Casino Resort is designed to bring the spirit, excitement, and "savoir faire" of Paris to the city of Las Vegas. Centrally located on the Las Vegas Strip, one cannot miss the towering replica of the Eiffel Tower, which can be seen for at least a mile down the bustling thoroughfare. The Tower soars 50 feet into the sky, the very highest any structure on the Strip can be built due to city regulations. The resort's entire design is rather mesmerizing and very well could have been the most aesthetic resort on the boulevard; however, it seems the proprietors could not resist the temptation for gaudy neon, and so they fashioned this goofy, glitzy purple ball that rotates high above the ground in front of the structure, adjacent to the Eiffel Tower. Nevertheless, the 24-acre property gives other city-themed resorts like New York-New York and The Orleans a run for its money in authenticity. Parisian street scenes surround the casino, while Le Boulevard beckons shoppers with European-style boutiques. The Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre also add to the Paris experience and elegant décor. Of course, the resort offers 10 different French restaurants to compliment Parisian entertainment (as well as other entertainment). The Paris-Las Vegas hotel tower, modeled after the famous Hotel de Ville, soars 34 stories and offers 2,916 guest rooms including 295 suites. Guest rooms feature custom designed furnishings, crown molding, and rich French fabrics. As in France, a stately armoire serves as the closet, enhancing the European ambiance. Spacious marble bathrooms offer separate bathtub and shower with authentic European fixtures, linen hand towels, a large vanity with shelves, and a make-up mirror. The 85,000-square-foot casino offers a wide selection of slots and all the popular table games, from Blackjack and Roulette to Pai Gow poker, and more.
