Las Vegas, Elvis, and your spouse-to-be: that's all you need to make your special day extra special. And you can find at least two of these things at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. Hey, if this place is good enough to accommodate the nuptials of Jon Bon Jovi and Lorenzo Lamas then it should be good enough for you too. Located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, Graceland Wedding Chapel is indeed a city landmark, not simply for the name and Elvis impersonators, but also for its style, décor, and intimacy. The New England-style church is surrounded by a white picket fence and has a burgundy and white interior, just like those chapels in the movies. It seats about 30. The Graceland Chapel offers a long list of amenities, from music and flowers to professional wedding consultants to help you plan and participate in your special ceremony. (Call for details about marriage package prices.) More than 100,000 marriages are performed in Las Vegas every year. Blood tests are not required and there is no waiting period in the State of Nevada, so basically all you need to get married here is a valid driver's license and $55 to obtain a marriage license at the County Clerk's Office 702-455-4415. Standard chapel fees start at around $50, not including extras. A variety of services are usually available including civil ceremonies, non-denominational ceremonies, ceremonies with original vows, and marriages involving kids from previous relationships.
