There are many enticements that make Cupid's Wedding Chapel one of the favorite chapels in Vegas. First, they schedule weddings at least one hour apart. Don't under estimate how important that is. Cupid's uses this hour well, too, as they really gear up for each wedding. Second, there's a wedding procession with a special introduction for the bride and groom. And after the ceremony they offer to play the couple's song, couple can experience their first dance right at the pulpit.
Another highlight of Cupid's (besides the Cupid statues located in the lobby only) is that they perform special ceremonies for people who have children from previous relationships. The children take part in the ceremony and are given their own token to symbolize the parents are marrying them as well.
Seating about 70 people, the low-frills chapel offers eight different marriage packages, ranging from a simple wedding at about $179, to a deluxe wedding at a little more than $1,000. The chapel is adorned with white walls and pews, and a modern stained glass backdrop with doves and roses. Though advanced reservations are suggested, if the moment is right and no other ceremonies are scheduled, walk-ins are welcomed.
More than 100,000 marriages are performed in Las Vegas every year. Blood tests are not required and there is no waiting period in the state of Nevada, so basically all you need to get married here is a valid driver's license, $55 for a marriage license, and a fiancé.
