Located at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, the Chapel of Love is actually four chapels in one. Some of the rooms are very small, but each has a distinct theme. The Chapel of Love also has a reception room where refreshments can be served. Choose from a cold buffet or hot hors d'oeuvres. The Chapel of Love offers different wedding packages, with limousine pick-up at your local hotel included in each, a staff of professional photographers and videographer, in-house floral service, and a complete line of wedding accessories. The institution of marriage is conveniently celebrated in Nevada. Blood tests are not required and there is no waiting period. All a one needs is a valid driver's license, $55 for the license (purchased at the County Clerk's Office 702-455-4415) and a fiancé. Several casinos have chapels within the property, offering a more traditional wedding. Within a half-mile of the Strip between Sahara Avenue and downtown, there are numerous private chapels. A variety of personal services is usually available as well, including civil ceremonies, non-denominational ceremonies, ceremonies with original vows and marriages involving kids from previous relationships. The Clerk's office is open 24 hours Friday and Saturday, closes Sunday at midnight and is open from 8:00 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday. Identification is required to obtain a marriage license.
