The Aladdin Casino Resort is fashioned in a fanciful Arabian theme, continuing the Las Vegas tradition of bringing other worlds and eras to the Strip. Located at the site of the original Aladdin, which was imploded in 1998, the new megaresort is located directly across the boulevard from the Bellagio, adjacent to Paris-Las Vegas. The Aladdin offers more than 130 retail shops inside its Desert Passage shopping complex and has a 7,000-seat theater for performing arts (the only mid-size venue in Las Vegas). The $1.4 billion resort boasts 2,567 oversized guest rooms and two outdoor swimming pools. All guest rooms feature marble bathrooms, including separate soaking tubs, separate showers, and private water closets. The rooms also offer two phone lines, high-speed Internet access and cordless phones. The Aladdin has a 100,000-square-foot main casino, which includes 2,800 slot machines, 87 table games, Keno, and a Race and Sports Book. The casino also features the 35,000-square-foot London Club, which is the city's only European-style luxury gaming salon. This elegant area offers baccarat, Pai Gow poker, roulette, blackjack, and premium slot machines. Sinbad's Palace, a higher-stakes gaming area, features live entertainment visible from various locations throughout the property.
